Nice location, but Germans shall improve how to be nicer with customers. Alles gut but long wait for a simple sandwich, almost when my Spritz was over.

The cafe offers a playroom and another play area inside, in summer you can have coffee in the garden, there is a sandpit, slide, swing, pedal car ... Just the thing so that mums can eat in peace😊. The café is self-service, has for (you can go at any time, because you paid at the beginning) and against (with small children who cannot walk yet, it is often difficult to bring the food / drinks and the child to the table. At the moment ("Corona time") the service is outside in the garden / forecourt.

A gem in Bamberg. Tucked away in an alley, it's worth a visit. Delicious cakes, good coffee and very courteous young people in the service. Some tables in the attached garden invite you to linger. A playground can also be found in the garden. We were there for the first, but not the last time.

We had breakfast at Café Leander during our stay in Bamberg and were absolutely delighted. Even if the breakfast offer is somewhat limited by Corona, the selection is great and very, very tasty. The outside area is very idyllic and we had enough space with our stroller. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We can absolutely recommend the restaurant and would come again at any time :-)

We sat outside when the weather was nice and it was just great! The cafe is cute and kid-friendly. The ambience relaxed and calm. The carrot cake was delicious too!

A cozy café where we had a very good breakfast. It's in the back yard, so not so many tourists find their way there. It's very cozy and the service is great.

We had a vegan waffle with strawberries. I have never eaten cardboard, but the waffle was fairly close in consistency and taste. The strawberries were very good.

After waiting for our food for 50 minutes, we decided to leave, and it really saddened us to see that 11 months ago someone already had a very similar experience. Something isn't right, there seem to be many employees but the chaotic service was noticable. We were actually really excited to be there, but sadly it turned out to be disappointing. We hope the owners will figure out a better way to work it out with their workers.

Very bad experience. We waited an hour for the ordered food to find out that the order had been forgotten by the staff. The waitress didn't even apologize. Outrageous!

Basically a nice and quiet place. Unfortunately the staff seemed a bit understaffed that day. In addition, we found the selection and size of the cappuccino cups to be very small. And the garden, which is great in itself, could be well maintained with very little effort (keyword overfilled garbage cans a few meters from the tables). However, we liked the concept and sustainability.

Both in the courtyard and in the café itself, it is totally beautiful and cozy. The staff is very friendly too! I always like to come back, especially there is always at least one vegan cake! Some other things on the menu, like currywurst, can also be ordered vegan!

Nice place, with plenty of toys and a playground outside. Good for kids. However, the food was nothing special and the service was very bad. No sympathy at all and it seemed that there was no motivation to work. The communication in English did not help, but it does not explain everything.

I love going there with my little girl. They have toys and books, there are other children, cake and coffee is great. If the floor (where the children play) was cleaner, it would be perfect.

It's great for families as they have a room for kids and toys, but the food is pretty bland.

Really cool place to grab some normal, but also vegan food in Bamberg. They have a huge variety of plant drinks and I loved the Chai (also vegan). We've been there for coffee, but the breakfast menu looked awesome. The stuff is kind, the interior is really cool - reminded me of Berlin - and the prices are fair. Lots vegan cakes as well and a good outside area in the backyard of houses right in the center of Bambergs older city part. Self-service

Good coffee. I liked the late macchiato and the omelette. It's a little pricey but think it's worth it.

Great cafe for families but not only. There is a play area in the large room and an extra game room, which can also be rented for special occasions. The food is modern and contemporary. Vegans will get their money's worth. The staff is polite and courteous. Price performance is absolutely ok. We recommend.

I love this small caffee! It's a bit hidden but without any doubt, the nicest caffee shop in Bamberg. The stuff is really friendly and the caffee is amazing!

This cozy cafe is located centrally, yet tucked in a cute, somewhat hidden corner. Came here on a Sunday morning and was v satisfied with the food and impeccable service! :) highly recommend!

Walked through on a Sunday, coffee smelled good, cakes looked yummy, separate room with distractions for the kids, but we didn't get a spot to sit. Seems very popular with the locals.

Very good breakfast and (especially) brunch! Good cakes, and excellent homelettes and teas, with vegan and gluten free choice. Also very good for families, since there is an area with toys and book dedicated to children.

A hidden gem! Highly recommend that you go here if in Bamburgh.
